Question of the Day 1: What character roles do you prefer to play most?

What character type do you prefer to play most?

Personally, while I like a wide variety of personality types and backgrounds, I feel most drawn to characters that perform support/utility roles rather than direct combat types. Be it in tabletop or in MMOs, I am drawn to the healers, the minion masters, the food summoning portal maker, etc. I enjoy characters that are useful in a wide variety of non-combat situations, with any combat abilities being almost an afterthought.

What about you guys?

A lot of it just comes down to party composition, but in a vacuum I like Rogue-types because I want maximum versatility. Enough skills to do a little bit of everything, enough combat ability to get through a fight and enough random tricks to deal with the unexpected.
